Sensory Reiki® is the healing methodology I've developed through years of client work, study and personal practice here on Maui.
It begins with traditional Usui Reiki — and expands the way we listen.
Through touch, sound, scent, intuition, somatic awareness and nervous-system attunement, you'll begin learning how to create a session that feels responsive rather than formulaic.
Not simply a sequence to follow.
A way of noticing what's actually happening in the room.
Level 1 is where that relationship begins.
Six people. Two days. Time to learn, receive, practice, ask questions and experience the work in your own body.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
— You're curious about Reiki but want an approach that feels grounded and embodied.
— You're a massage therapist, yoga teacher, esthetician, coach, therapist or wellness practitioner wanting to expand how you hold space.
— You've never formally studied energy work but have always sensed there's something here for you.
— You're already Reiki trained but want to explore a more sensory, intuitive and somatically aware approach.
— You want to become more confident noticing subtle cues rather than worrying whether you're “doing it right.”
— You want intimate, hands-on learning rather than disappearing into a large certification class.
Sensory Reiki® is not simply Reiki with additional tools.
You’ll learn the philosophy behind how sensory artistry, somatic touch, nervous-system attunement, consent, sequencing, and practitioner presence are woven together into one coherent approach.

Over two days together we'll move through:
The foundations and philosophy of Sensory Reiki® rooted in Usui lineage
Polyvagal theory and nervous-system attunement — learning to notice cues of comfort, activation, settling, and sensory tolerance through pacing, touch, choice, and presence
Somatic touch and the intention behind how and why it is used
Creating a multi-sensory healing container using elements such as essential oils, crystals, sound, tuning forks and flower essences
Chakra mapping and energy body awareness
Intuition, practitioner presence, and discernment
Full session practice — both giving and receiving
Usui Reiki Level 1 attunement ceremony
Ethics, boundaries, scope of practice, and the art of holding space with integrity
You’ll leave attuned to Reiki Level 1, certified in Sensory Reiki® Level 1, and grounded in the foundational principles and practices of the method.

THE PATH DOESN'T END HERE
Level 1 is your foundation: learning, receiving, practicing and integrating the work in your own body.
Sensory Reiki® Level 2, coming Spring/Summer 2027, continues the practitioner pathway and prepares eligible graduates to begin offering the method professionally.

🕙 Each day runs 10am–2pm, leaving the afternoon for rest, integration, and letting the work settle.
👥 Six students maximum
Early Bird: $222 due before October 14, 2026
Regular: $333
A deposit of $88 holds your spot and applies toward your balance.
