Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice and the foundation of my work.
I trained in the traditional Usui Reiki lineage, and that foundation remains at the heart of every Sensory Reiki® session.
Over years of working with people, I became interested in what happens around the Reiki, too.
The light. The sound. The pace. The breath. The quality of touch. The environment. The way a body responds from one moment to the next.
The body often knows before the mind does.
Sensory Reiki® grew from paying attention to those responses.
It weaves traditional Reiki with somatic touch, breath, sound, scent, craniosacral-inspired work and sensory elements — not simply to add more, but to create an experience that can respond to the person receiving it.
Every element is chosen with intention.
Nothing is added just for the sake of adding it.
The work is about attention, timing, sensation and presence.

Sensory Reiki® is a 90-minute immersive experience built around one guiding question:

I weave together Usui Reiki, somatic touch, breath, sound, scent, craniosacral-inspired work and sensory elements.
You are not asked to relax.
Instead, the environment is intentionally composed so your body has space to respond in its own way, in its own timing.
This is where sensation becomes information.
Where the mind gets quieter.
Where you begin to notice what was already there.
Healing isn’t something I do to you.
I create the conditions for your own experience to unfold.

What is Sensory Reiki® and how is it different from traditional Reiki?
Traditional Reiki places hands on the body and channels energy — and it's beautiful. Sensory Reiki® goes further. I built this modality on a different foundation entirely: the session is sequenced to regulate your nervous system first, so that when the energy work begins, your body is genuinely open to receive it. It's not Reiki with extras added on. It's a completely different design — one that integrates somatic touch, sound, scent, and intuitive presence into a curated 90-minute container.
What should I expect during a Sensory Reiki® session?
You'll arrive, settle in, and be guided into a carefully held sensory environment — essential oils, sound, flower essences, and crystals selected specifically for your session. From there, I work through a sequence of somatic touch and energy healing that follows what your body needs in the moment. Most clients experience deep relaxation within the first few minutes. Many release emotions they didn't know they were holding. You'll leave feeling grounded, clear, and genuinely different than when you walked in.
Who is Sensory Reiki® for?
This work is for the sensitive, intuitive, deeply feeling person who is tired of surface-level wellness. If you're overstimulated, emotionally exhausted, holding tension in your body, or craving something more — this session was built for you. It's also a powerful reset for visitors to Maui who want a meaningful healing experience during their time on the island.
Can Reiki help regulate the nervous system?
Many clients seek Sensory Reiki® when they feel overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or disconnected. While Reiki is not a medical treatment, sessions are designed to help create the conditions for your nervous system to settle so you can experience greater calm, presence, and connection.
What is the cancellation policy for Sensory Reiki® sessions?
Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your session. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged in full. Mahalo for honoring this time.
Do you offer Sensory Reiki® sessions for couples?
Yes — Couples Energy Healing is a separate offering designed for two people to experience healing side by side. It's a powerful way to reconnect, regulate together, and share something deeply meaningful. You can learn more and book on the Couples Energy Healing page.
Where are you located?
My studio is located in Wailuku, in Central Maui — an easy drive from most of the island. I'm about 15–20 minutes from Kahului and Paia, 30 minutes from Kihei and Wailea, and 40–45 minutes from Lahaina and Kaanapali. Many clients tell me the drive itself becomes part of the wind-down.
